POV: Mrs.Liamini reading the 100th mid blog post

Point of view is so unique. Have you ever thought of that? A story can seem so different from the perspective of others or from the way it is told. In The Stranger, the story is told from the first-person subjective perspective of the main character, Meursault, who seems like a very nonchalant, chill guy. From the way he describes his experiences, it seems like he isn't affected at all by his mother's death. However, I personally think he is dull at the moment because he could still be in shock from his mother's death and he still hasn't fully processed it and his thoughts are all over the place. But this thought cannot evolve from just a speculation because the only information we have is what Meursault decides to give us and a lot of crucial information from the actual situation could be missing. This reminds me a lot of when my sisters have their daily squabbles that sometimes escalate into shouting and physical altercations. My mother would confront them and, with them standing side by side, ask them what happened one at a time. I would watch the look of shock on the other sister as the other one started speaking and when it was her turn, she would tell a completely different story. It was always entertaining to watch how different their stories were even though there could only be one situation. I personally was also in this situation when I played Monster Hunter having a blast slaying the monsters that stood in my way. But I couldn't help but feel a little sad when I had to slay an innocent-looking monster like Dodogama.

. I wondered how it would be if we could befriend the monsters and fight together instead of with each other. This is when I played Monster Hunter Stories when it came out. A game where we fight alongside our monster buddies to defeat our foes. Playing this game made me see two sides of the Monster Hunter world and made me appreciate its world and the franchise even more. And if I hadn't taken time to explore the other perspective, this wouldn't have been possible.

WHO wants to be president?!

The first full week of school was definitely eventful, filled with many humorous moments and- of course- homework. One of those humorous moments was in one of the activities we did in  AP French. The class was asked a question on what they wanted to do in the future and one of my classmates said he wanted to be the president. The class erupted in laughter because he was known for making jokes like this (and because we all know he's going into med). But he kept a straight face and continued with his response. Average day in a Monster Hunter video game

The hilt of the Longsword glinted under the starry sky as the hunter spotted the drowsy Rathalos. Grinning, he crept closer, Longsword drawn. Then his Palico tripped on a rock, dropping a flash bomb. The Rathalos roared, and the Palico meowed, “Whoops, sorry!”—though it sounded more like “meow meooowww” to the hunter. Sighing, already expecting this, he dodged claws and fire, delivering precise slashes. With a final Helm Splitter, he sliced off the tail and felled the beast. I chuckled as the Palicos paraded the severed tail like a trophy, ready to do it 500 more times.
